As the centre receives no Governmental aid whatsoever, it’s running depends entirely on donations. Thanks to the newly appointed director Mrs. My Huong LE, who has worked there for many years. My Huong is considered as the mother of the centre and I am very grateful for her friendship.
For 4 years in row, AAV has provided annual schoolbooks, shoes, schoolbags and uniform tissu for the centre. In 2018, AAV also supported the salary of 1 special eduction teacher. Total amount for 2018: 10.000 Euros
Having shopped the books and the shoes, together with My Huong, a few weeks earlier, the first official schoolday was more of a ceremony, with speeches, the kids performing and the education staff receiving a present and flowers. Later the kids were free for the rest of the day, while the the staff enjoyed lunch together.
